ALA "advances the worldwide utilization of automation, robotics, and artificial intelligence in order to improve the quality, efficiency, and relevance of laboratory analysis." ALA publishes a bi-monthly journal, Journal of the Association for Laboratory Automation,presenting ALA members with up-to-date information about current developments in the field of robotics.

 

Laboratory Robotics Interest Group
LRIG is a rapidly growing special interest group focused on robotics applications in the laboratory. Membership is free.

ACME Automation
ACME is run by Jeff Cahlik who can provide provide production, OEM and custom solutions for laboratory automation needs. Thousands of unique automation components are sold, e.g., labware, heating, cooling, shaking, mixing, filtration, reservoirs and racks. Software and applications support is integral to the ACME solution.

 

Discussion Groups

  The Laboratory Robotics Interest Group maintains a discussion mail list at Yahoo! Groups. You will receive messages posted to the list and you will be able to post and reply to messages.
  Chapters of the Laboratory Robotics Interest Group are established in seven locations: Mid Atlantic, New England, SouthEast, Bay Area, San Diego, NorthWest, and Europe. Meetings are held several times each year.
